It’s true. Agape, my pet koi, used to sense when I was coming home and as I was walking through the gate, we had this game we played: Agape would play dead as in he would just float on the surface of the pond, but always in the same place – the forget me nots. And, at first I really thought he was dead but when I touched him he flipped up in the air and I squeeled and laughed. We played this game regularly. I never grew tired of it.
